Right of restriction of processing: You have the right granted by the European legislator to obtain from the data controller restriction of processing if a) the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, b) the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of their use instead, c) we do no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing.

If you contact the PROMISS project’s secretariat by e-mail or via the PROMISS project’s website contact form, the personal data that you transmitted are automatically stored. Personal data collection and use when visiting our website

When you visit the website (https://www.promiss-vu.eu), we will only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. We collect data that are technically necessary for us to display our website to you correctly and to ensure its stability and security.

Members database

Additionally, in the case of registered users – the so called “members”, who have access to a specific and restricted “members area” on the website – following data are collected by the WordPress Content Management System (data base) used by the PROMISS project’s website:

  • Registration date and time
  • Failed login attempts
  • Status

Those data are only used for purposes related to PROMISS’ “membership” activities and will not be shared with third parties. They will only be stored for the duration of the project.

The PROMISS project’s website uses cookies that improve the performance of the website and provide functionality.

When you subscribe to our PROMISS project’s newsletter,  the data you provide (first name, name and email address) are collected in a distribution mailing list for the sole purpose of sending you PROMISS monthly online newsletter via email and will not be used for any other purpose, nor disclosed to anyone else. This list of contacts is hosted by MailChimp (you can read MailChimp privacy policy here). We also remind you that you can unsubscribe from this distribution mailing list at any moment by clicking on the Unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of our newsletter. Your personal data will then be deleted from our mailing list. If you wish to receive again PROMISS project’s online newsletter, you will need to subscribe again and enter anew your personal data.
